Models
Most nodes show a short model name, and the node sends the dated model ID next to it to BytePlus. When BytePlus releases a new version of a model, the pack usually changes only the ID, so the name in your workflow keeps working. A few options (Seedream 4.5 and 4.0, Seedance 1.0 and the Seed Speech models) are shown as the ID itself. The tables below are generated from the pack’s model list.

Activate models first
Section titled “Activate models first”Create your key, then activate each model you want in the ModelArk console, for the same region as the key. Without activation the node stops with a message that your account has not activated the model, and tells you to activate it in the ModelArk console (Model activation). See Troubleshooting for the exact text.
Seed Speech and AI MediaKit use their own keys, which you create in their own consoles. For Seed Speech, activate its services there first. See API keys.
Regions
Section titled “Regions”ModelArk API keys belong to a region, ap-southeast-1 (the default) or eu-west-1. The key and the region in Settings → BytePlus must match. See Keys and regions.
- Seedream 5.0 Lite is not available in
eu-west-1. BytePlus deactivated it there on 2026-09-10. The node refuses to send the request in that region. - Seed Speech and AI MediaKit run in
ap-southeast-1only.
Resolutions and durations for Seedance 2

A draft is always 480p. The final rendered from a draft is 1080p for Seedance 2.5 and 4k for Seedance 2.5 Premium. Other resolutions are rejected. See Draft mode.
Models with extra requirements
Section titled “Models with extra requirements”- Seedance 2.5 Premium (4K) is whitelist only, so your account may need access from BytePlus before it accepts requests. Ask BytePlus about access if a request is refused.
- Seed Speech ASR: the table above repeats the option name in the ID column, but the node sends these BytePlus resource IDs:

- BytePlus LLM audio input works only on Seed 2.0 Lite and Mini. Seed 2.0 Pro and Seed 2.1 Turbo reject audio. DeepSeek V4.1 Flash and GLM 5.3 Flash accept it but cannot hear it, so the node offers the audio input only for Lite and Mini.
- Asset library nodes need Advanced Creation Rights on your account. See Reference media.
Retired models
Section titled “Retired models”Seedance 1.5 Pro (seedance-1-5-pro-251215) was deprecated by BytePlus on 2026-09-15 and shuts down on 2026-11-11. No node offers it. Use dreamina-seedance-2-0-mini-260615 (Seedance 2.0 Mini) instead.
Video Query Tasks still lists Seedance 1.5 Pro in its model_version choice so you can find old tasks.
